Microsoft Word Toolkit
Arcade's Microsoft Word toolkit enables LLMs to create, read, and modify Word documents stored in OneDrive via the Microsoft Graph API.
Capabilities
- Document creation: Create new
.docxfiles in OneDrive with optional initial text content (4 MB upload limit). - Document retrieval: Fetch document metadata and/or full content; content is returned as Markdown by default, with a metadata-only mode available.
- Document editing: Append text to the end of existing
.docxfiles (4 MB limit). - User context: Retrieve information about the authenticated user and their Microsoft Word/OneDrive environment.
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 via Microsoft as the identity provider. Arcade handles the token exchange and refresh automatically. See the Microsoft auth provider docs for setup details, required app registrations, and tenant configuration.
