Reddit Toolkit
The Reddit toolkit integrates Reddit's API with Arcade, enabling LLMs to read, post, and interact with Reddit content on behalf of authenticated users.
Capabilities
- Account & identity: Retrieve the authenticated user's username and their own post history.
- Subreddit discovery & compliance: Check subreddit existence and access status; fetch subreddit rules before posting.
- Post retrieval: Fetch post listings from any subreddit (by recency, top, controversial, etc.) including titles, links, and metadata; retrieve full post content for one or many posts in a single call.
- Comment access: Retrieve the first page of top-level comments on any post.
- Content creation: Submit new text posts to subreddits, comment on posts, and reply to existing comments.
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 via Reddit. Arcade handles the OAuth flow automatically. See the Reddit auth provider docs for setup details.
